Workspace setup

Understand the workspace boundary, member roles, Channels, and shared resources.

A workspace is the durable boundary for your team.

It contains:

  • Members and roles
  • Channels and direct Agent conversations
  • Workspace Agents
  • Tasks and task execution history
  • Workspace files and previews
  • Calendar schedules and occurrences
  • Connector identities and provider details

Workspace selection

Most product routes are workspace-scoped. When a route includes a workspace ID, Offloop treats that workspace as the active context and remembers it as the last opened workspace for later routes that do not include an explicit workspace ID.

Roles

Owners hold the highest level of workspace control. In the current product contract, destructive workspace deletion is owner-only and requires typing the persisted workspace name exactly before the action is enabled.

Admins can manage normal workspace operations but should not be treated as owners for deletion flows.

Archived workspaces

Workspace deletion is a soft archive. Normal workspace selectors should hide archived workspaces and route users to another active workspace when one exists.

The main product surfaces are:

  • /c for shared Channels
  • /agents for workspace Agents and marketplace operations
  • /tasks for task tracking
  • /drive for workspace files
  • /calendar for schedules and calendar context
  • /mail for email workflows
